Yes. Every online purchase includes a pre-installation consultation with an XPEL Dealer. During this consultation, you’ll review coverage, installation details, and confirm your selected film.

Loaner cars are not provided; however, most participating XPEL Dealers will help facilitate ground transportation such as UBER, Lyft, or Taxi services. Additional charges may apply.

In addition, if you purchase your tint through this site, Tesla will cover the cost to replace the film if any glass is replaced under their New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Tint purchased directly from installers or anywhere else is not eligible for this added coverage from Tesla.

The rear glass on the Model 3 and Model X is significantly larger and consists of a full glass panel, which we tint entirely. This requires more material and additional time for installation, increasing both the complexity and the overall cost compared to the rear windows of the Model Y and Model S.

If you have a leased car, you can still apply the clear tint which will help with heat rejection. If a shade is selected that makes the visible light transmission darker than state requirements there may be a removal fee charged when the vehicle is returned to Tesla.

No. When professionally installed and removed, color PPF does not damage the factory paint. In fact, it preserves the original finish and maintains your vehicle’s resale value.

Absolutely. This is an essential step in your maintenance regime. You can wash your car as usual after an initial curing period. Hand washing is recommended, but touchless car washes are also safe.
