Paint Protection Film FAQ
Paint protection film, or PPF, is a protective film applied to selected vehicle surfaces. It is intended to help reduce damage from everyday exposure; it does not make a vehicle damage-proof.
Tinting Motors offers Full Front, Track Pack and Full Vehicle PPF options. The exact panels, preparation and optional extras should be specified in your vehicle quote. Request a quote.
The price depends on your vehicle, the panels covered, the selected film and the preparation required. Request a quote with your year, make, model and preferred coverage for an estimate.
Our current services include satin protection film and color paint protection film. Contact us to discuss current finishes and suitability for your vehicle.
Yes. Tinting Motors offers windshield protection film. This is a separate service from paint protection film and automotive window tinting. Contact us to discuss your vehicle and current options.
Contact Tinting Motors for the current product options. Ask for the manufacturer, exact product and proposed coverage to be identified in your quote before booking.
Warranty coverage depends on the specific product and the written terms that apply to your installation. Confirm the duration, exclusions, maintenance requirements, transferability and any separate workmanship coverage before booking.
No. Protection has limits. Any self-healing capability depends on the exact film and the type of damage; it is not a guarantee that deep cuts, punctures or damage to the underlying paint will disappear.
Tinting Motors offers both PPF and ceramic coating. Ask us to confirm the coating’s compatibility with the selected film and finish and the preparation needed for your vehicle.
Tell us about existing coatings, paint repairs, repainted panels and any surface defects before booking. Suitability and preparation must be assessed for the particular surface and selected film.
Follow the written care instructions for the exact film installed. Confirm the waiting period before washing, permitted cleaning products and pressure-washing restrictions. Do not substitute generic solvent or polishing advice for the product’s instructions.
Compatibility depends on the film and its finish. Check the product’s care instructions or contact Tinting Motors before using waxes, polishes, solvents or stain removers, especially on satin or matte-look finishes.
Removal results depend on the film, paint condition, previous repairs and removal method. Ask for a professional assessment rather than relying on a universal damage-free guarantee.
Tinting Motors offers interior protection film. Contact us about the particular screen, trim or console surfaces you want protected.
Timing depends on coverage and preparation. Ask for the expected drop-off and collection schedule for your vehicle when requesting a quote.
